Because our department is a smaller, more focused unit you will receive prompt attention from our medical team.
Immediate Attention When you arrive you will be seen quickly by a doctor or nurse. There is no long wait in a busy triage area. The focus is on a rapid and thorough assessment of your condition so we can begin treatment as soon as possible.
Our Services Our dedicated two-bedded department provides immediate treatment for a variety of conditions. In cases of serious or life-threatening emergencies our team will work to stabilize your condition and coordinate a seamless transfer to a larger facility equipped for extended critical care.
How You Can Help
To help our staff provide you with the best and most efficient care please be prepared to share the following information.
It is important that you do not eat or drink before being seen. You may need tests or procedures that require an empty stomach. Please also turn off your mobile phone when you are in the treatment area as it may interfere with our medical equipment.
Visitors and Valuables
Having a friend or family member with you can provide great comfort. For patient safety and to respect the privacy of all patients we ask that you limit visitors in the treatment area to one or two people.
We recommend leaving your valuables at home or having a trusted friend or family member look after them. While we do our best to safeguard your belongings we cannot be responsible for personal items.
